Vacancy
As a Project/Sales Assistant at Kompak, you'll be responsible for supporting Project Managers and Account Managers on both new and ongoing projects. You'll perform a wide range of administrative and communication tasks and maintain close contact with both customers and suppliers. For example, you'll send customers packaging samples, check their submitted artwork, and arrange one-time shipments. You'll ensure they provide all necessary information on time and provide them with information such as quarterly prices and new items. You'll also maintain contact with suppliers of ingredients and packaging materials, for example, regarding new orders, delivery times, and artwork deliveries.
You'll also perform various administrative tasks, such as entering the necessary information into the systems, charging customers for one-time costs, and downloading information from customer and/or supplier systems. You'll ensure that changes within the organization are properly implemented, administered, and communicated. You'll also support colleagues internally, for example, by preparing quotes for Sales & Project Management and ensuring that Project Managers always have the correct customer specifications.
The Sales and Project team you'll be joining consists of two Account Managers and four Project Managers. You'll work closely with them to successfully complete projects from the assignment phase through to evaluation. You'll report to the Sales & Business Development Manager, to whom you'll report on the progress of your work.
If you enjoy the hustle and bustle of a production environment, enjoy frequent contact with colleagues, and can handle deadlines and changing priorities, then this is the job for you.
Working week
On a good workday, work runs smoothly and you've accomplished exactly what you set out to do. All systems are up-to-date, and communication with customers and suppliers is excellent.
On a less pleasant working day, new productions do not go as planned or promised deliveries are delivered too late.
